At 47?, the Nauti-Cat cuts through the water with a smooth, comfortable sail that first time sailors and longtime sail enthusiasts will enjoy. Daily Cruises
Nauti-Cat Cruises sails up to 4 cruises a day and is open 7 days a week. Our season is typically from Memorial Weekend to Labor Day, but we are often open before & after those dates. The cruises are typically 2? hours, except the Kids Cruise, which is 1 1/2. The Cat cruises in West Grand Traverse Bay. Depending on the wind speed, the Nauti-Cat is capable of traveling 14 knots. With 2 Heads (restrooms) aboard you can enjoy our full cash bar without being caught short. We carry complentary pretzels, potato chips, and chex mix but your more than welcome to bring any other food aboard. If you want to feel like a part of the crew, raising the sails, jibing, tacking, and driving, we will put you to work! While on the Nauti-Cat, you will see Traverse City from the best view, the water. Bring your camera, these photos will be unforgettable! Reservations are recommended & can be made up-to 14 days in advance.

Sailing out of Traverse City, the 114-foot long, 62-passenger schooner Manitou offers three different 2-hour cruises every day of the week with specially catered picnic meals included during the evening sail. Sunday evenings enjoy our Microbrew & Pizza Cruise featuring local favorites Right Brain Beer & Crusted Creations Pizza. Wine Tasting Cruises, featuring wine from Leelanau Cellars and Left Foot Charley, as well as savory cuisine from Silver Swan Homemade Foods, are offered on Tuesday and Thursday evenings in July and August. Entertainment with “Song of the Lakes” takes place on the Wednesday evening cruise in July and August. Join us for our Moomers Ice Cream sails! Thanks to a community effort involving the City of Traverse City, Discovery Center Great Lakes, Elmwood Township and Traverse City Light and Power, Traverse Tall Ship has a new home! We are excited and proud to be located at the Discovery Center Great Lakes and we’re looking forward to a fantastic season to celebrate our 25th year of sailing on Grand Traverse Bay. Our new office is just north of our old location on M-22, right across the road from what long-time residents will know as the “Coal Dock”. This dock has served as home for the Maritime Heritage Alliance’s fleet for some time, so we’ll be in good company at our new berth.
